The unique or distinctive component: this is the specific component, a word or group of words that clearly distinguishes one business from another. It should be unique or distinctive word. Business must be registered in an approved name. To get this name approval from provincial government, a NUANS report must be submitted.

What is business number?
Every business in Canada must have a business number from CRA. This is the identification of your corporation with Canada Revenue Agency.
What is GST/HST account?
It's the initial set up for a GST account with CRA. Customer's invoice or receipt must show the GST number. In applicable amount, unable to collect GST may cause to CRA penalty.
What is payroll account?
Payroll account applicable when you have any other employee rather than yourself. Please note, this is not payroll service, but the initial set up of payroll account with CRA.
Do I need PST account?
Unfortunately a PST account is needed to the provinces that collect PST, unless you are a PST exempted individual.
